  1. #1 collage: guys you did an amazing job! you had a lot of details for the pictures, from my opinion you guys had the main important scenes and characters which were in chapters 1-13 or 1-14. I can understand easily what you are trying to say or show what the story Branded is about, it's not that hard at all since it has the important parts of the story; if i didn't had read the story branded but saw this collage i would have understand what the story is about. overall the marks i would give you is: 8 out of 10 because there are some mistakes like maybe you can zoom into pic #7 and #6 just to show what's happening in those two scenes! Good Job!

    1. Thank You. We made the pictures these way so that people would infer and love the collage more.

  3. #2 collage: i liked your collage a lot, but there was something which i loved the most and that was the text which you added in your collage. Why? because if i was a person who didn't read the book Branded after seeing this collage i would have some parts of what the story is because there is an text which i can read and that text would show me a inference of the story. Also some pics which you took were important to the story but maybe 1 or 2 pics weren't that much but overall you guys did a good job! the mark which i would give you is 7.5 out of 10.

  4. #4: You guys did an amazing job on your pictures. I am able to infer on the scene and what is going on. GREAT JOB!

  5. First collage: I think they did a good job but for the 3rd picture in the top right corner they took the picture straight off of another computer, you guys should have taken the picture yourself. Also for the picture in the bottom right corner you can tell that the table in the picture is actually a desk. They should have put in a little effort to notice that. Also in the picture of Mr.Roberts you can see someone's long hair and Mr.Roberts doesn't have long hair. Overall though I think the pictures were good and they put in as much effort as they could to try to make them the best as possible.

  6. #2: I like the mystery and creativity that was posted in your collage. It got really unique with the note passing and Ian on the computer. I really enjoy your collage over all.

  7. #3 collage: you guys were amazing with blurring, saturation and more photo techniques which you added in your photo. It looks like a perfect collage which artist(s) do in museums, why? because the way you guys edited your photos looks like that you really didn't edit anything, it's the original photo! some pics did show the important or very important scenes but i think you guys could have made a little more improvement in #8 or #4 (one of these pics not both) so you could show what that scene is about. but overall amazing job! the marks which i would give is 8 out of 10.

  10. 2) I liked the collage and everything but it was a little hard for me to see what parts in the story the pictures were showing I mean some of them were easy but the rest were not but good job!

  11. Collage #1-
Your pictures are taken from a nice angle and the pictures really summarized the book well, but, a few of your pictures, like the picture of the steering wheel, you can tell you took the picture from a computer. The first picture on the second column was a little confusing since you can see the ponytail, you could've cropped that part off. You could've also edited your pictures by blurring them and cropping out the non-important parts.

  12. 2nd College: The pictures were well taken and are really nice but personally I think they added to much editing making it seem kind of like it wasn't a book based around uniforms and social injustice but I can understand what is happening in the book.

  13. #2 I think that these pictures give a clear representation on what was happening in the book! We, as an audience automatically get the concept that Mr. Roberts is man who you want to respect for all he’s done for the country, its easy to grasp the concept of a majority of the pictures which is something I believe you succeeded in! Although, the editing of the picture should be toned down to a minimum just so we could get a clear look at the pictures! Overall nice collage!

  14. 5) I would have to say that this one was my favorite because the pictures really made sense and I liked how you took the picture in the car that was really original! Excellent job.

  15. Collage #1: I liked most of your pictures and i understood what you were trying to show in them. But in the second picture you see a girl wearing the uniform when its suppose to be Oswald. so maybe you guys could've done something to not show the hair like put it inside the coat.

  16. Collage #2-
You guys did an amazing job! You used creative ideas! I loved the way you took a picture of the note. It expressed the feelings of the students well, but, it was a little hard to read the note. Other than that, you did awesome!

  17. 3) I liked this picture because it had words on the pictures, but even if it didn't it would still be easy to understand because the pictures really show the moments in the book.

  18. Collage #2: I like your pictures and the angels you toke them from, but i don't understand what the second picture in the 1st and last row are trying to show. And I dont remember when julia wrote a note saying how she feels about the new school uniforms.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 4th Collage: For picture number 4 I think they blurred it a little too much you cant really see the screen and I think their trying to show something on the screen. Also I don't understand what happening in picture number 7. It's really dark and hard to understand. Also in picture number 3 I think somebody's finger got in the way of the camera.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Collage #4: I like your pictures and i understand what they are saying but maybe you guys could do more editing and try to take them from more angels.

  21. #3 I believe that the concept of your pictures relates to the book instantly! We get it instantly that Julia wants to contact Ian in the 5th picture which I think is clever. Although in the pictures you’ve used text, it covers the picture itself, example: the first picture and the one which in the bottom left corner. In a sense, you could’ve either left the text out overall or went with something a little more visible. Otherwise, your pictures give a solid summary of what happened.

  22. #1 The collection of pictures were ones that made you think about what went down in the book, however, some of the pictures don’t seem like they fit! The second one in the first row, you could see her hair, which throws you off a bit, because Mr. Roberts doesn’t have that long of hair. The third picture in the first row was taken off a computer screen, we can see this because of the glare left behind from the screen itself, your group could’ve revised this picture by going into an actual car and attempting to change it from there; this would’ve given it the appeal that yes it was taken by you. In some pictures I don’t seem to remember what happens which is something that is unfortunate. If you guys had spent a little more time checking for finer detail, this could be an even better collage of pictures!

  23. Collage #3-
I liked the way you guys added text to explain your pictures and show dialogues. The text makes a person who didn't read Branded, get involved into what the book is about and it gives them a brief summary on the book. You edited your photos nicely! But, the photo which shows the lockers and the feet of people wasn't very clear. All in all, you did a good job!

  24. 2. In half of your collage i can just see the suit that doesn't really give me they idea of what you are trying to show.

  25. 3. i like the way some pictures are bright it really brings out the text you added in most of the pics.

  26. 5. I Like the way you have a bit color in your pictures and the way your pictures are taken.

  27. #2 : In my opinion majority of the pictures were really nice! But the flaw about it was I did not really see which pictures were which. It seemed like you just taken random pictures somewhat related to the novel but not really. It was decent picture taking and editing but it was not really a part of branded due to the pictures being nearly all the same.

To be quite honest some of your pictures are great and some just didn't make sense. The pictures of Mr. Roberts office, the tie, and the logo made sense and they had great editing which darkness and blurs. Other pictures you had just made no sense but the edits you made to them were nice. So altogether you had an Ok collage but you could have paid more attention to details.

  29. #5 : I absolutely loved your collage. It seemed to be the best in my opinion but some of them were noticeable that you had edited it. Other than that I liked the colors that you used and the editing was decent! Keep up the good work! I was just amazed by this one!

Wow! I must have to say that this was one of the best, if the the best collage of the 5. The collection of pictures in the picture are just fantastic and I liked how you paid attention to finer details by adding blurs and saturation. The angles of the pictures were great and they all made sense, also the way your group blurred all the pictures in the middle was quite intelligent.

  31. #1 : Your collage was pretty good other than the picture taking. I feel like you could have worn costumes to represent who is who and you could have taken the pictures in a different area because to be honest, it does not match up with the book. I liked the idea of taking a picture of the child labor on the computer. That is what brought up my attention because its so unique! I also liked for the fact on how you covered up the actors for the men! Your collage was pretty good!

This collage was actually good in some ways but one major idea took down the greatness of the pictures. If you notice really closely you can see that none of the pictures are in focus which is why they appear a bit grainy. The ideas of the pictures made sense and they were amazing but I didn't understand picture number 7. Overall this was a good collage.

  33. Poster 1, love the ideas you have brought up but they dont feel right like they are not telling the story to me but overall its a very nice poster

  34. poster 5, My personal favorite. Your ideas are very strong and the pictures are amazing. I can look at the picture and analyse it form 2-3 minutes and i will have a strong idea on how the story is.

  35. Poster 3, its very good but the text kind of takes the inferring part away.but the text looks great and matches well wit the picture. Also the pictures are really well taken
